Quick Release Steering Hubs
Strange quick release steering hubs are SFI certified. The billet aluminum hubs are a completely self-contained mechanism. The fixed steering wheels in cars can significantly go against your proper entry or exit from a race car in an emergency. This is why quick-release steering hubs come in handy. Steering columns require hub adapters to convert the column so that it can accept a removable steering wheel. You cannot install the quick release wheel. without the hub adapter.
A 4130 stub shaft is furnished for ease of installation and the keyed spline allows for easy wheel orientation. The Q1000 is designed for butterfly steering wheels and the Q1200 fits 5 bolt Grant style steering wheels. The Q1200SPAR fits 6 bolt Sparco Wheels.
