Kicking the season off at the NHRA Winternationals in Pomona, CA  proved to be a step in the right direction for Strange Engineering. Head of sales, Joe Cascio and I catered to our drivers on all fronts for the foggy,”not so California weather” weekend. JC accompanied the Hyatt trailer, aiding in sales and product questions to anyone who stopped in for product and/or tech support; and I roamed through the Sportsman pits, shaking hands and getting to know everyone, and informing them of all of the great things to come for our 50th Anniversary! As a way of showing gratitude to everyone for sharing their feedback, Strange Engineering held a credit giveaway! For each person that I spoke with, they were then entered into a random drawing for $200! Strange Engineering gave away $200 worth of Strange credit on both Friday afternoon, and again on Saturday afternoon! Congrats to our winners Zach Meziere and Steve Parsons!

I was pleased at how everyone welcomed me in and wanted to hear more about what we were doing as a company. As I went through our plans for the 2014 season, I began to see them come alive, hearing that we were here for THEM, the Sportsman drivers, and that the 50th Anniversary was going to be about giving back to our customers! I want to extend again a very sincere “Thank You” to everyone who took time out of their schedules to speak with me, as it it your voices that will serve as the blueprints for all of the new and improved aspects of Strange Engineering!

Continuing on our West Coast sweep, I flew into Phoenix, AZ to attend the Division 7 Sportsman race; and what a wonderful feeling it was to see how many Strange Engineering supporters were out racing! Huge car counts, and lot after lot, FULL of happy attendees, waving hello and motioning me over to their trailer! It was such a positive experience to hear back from all of our valued customers and to see the amount of enthusiasm roaming through the Speedway! I was able to get great feedback, as well as great footage from the event, and I hope everyone enjoys the videos and albums to come this season! They will be featured here on the blog, and I encourage everyone to tell your friends about the blogs, and share your pictures and videos around when you spot YOUR car on our site! The next event that Strange Engineering will be attending is right around the corner ~ back on the West Coast at the K&N Spring Fling! I encourage everyone to be on the lookout for me! I want to hear YOUR feedback and have some pictures and video footage of YOUR car on the next blog to come!  Check out the album as well as the short clip from Pomona and Phoenix here! And Remember, Don`t Just Race….Race Strange!
